May 2008: Star Wars

Page history last edited by Anonymous 1 yr ago
I have scoured the wiki for anything related to StarWars. Theme ends at the end of May.
Please post your entries soon so we can discuss them, and maybe even pick a winner! :-D

Lifestar.fed Nutman217 (Search me on Youtube! I don't know much about Star Wars but I thought of an insane idea:could I make a maze/action hybrid? The result was this big bad boogie I shamelessly named The "Life Star" after the big bad balls of the "Death Star". First you must take down the outer core to immobilize the big bad baddie. Then, you must venture deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep into the surprise-filled innards of the Star and battle its core. You're gonna need to get rid of the large lasers with a blaster,as well.
mfalcon.fed SharkyTRS heavily modified yt-1300 star frieghter. 'Millenium Falcon'. hardly a frieghter any more, after heavy modifications by Lando Calrissian, then carried on by Han Solo, The falcon has armorments to match that of imperial cruisers.
deathstar.fed By Username

A recreation of the first death star, it comes with 11 TIE fighters and one TIE advanced. I'd go for the fighters first. Record - Fully Upgraded - Level 60. A hint to the wary: When this thing blows, get the heck out of the way.

Star Of Death.fed By JPteeto One proton torpedo fired down the ventilation shaft... oh wait, they installed armor. Crap.
DFSharky.fed Khazz (Khazzdan on Youtube) Beware! Dear Fraxy(er) You have been challanged by the great Darth Frax!
deathstar2.fed - By Hornet My first creation, the deathstar is protected by 10 fighters and one advanced fighter. It's simple at first, but after defeating it a few times it gets real tough....kindof
Imperial Star Destroyer v2.fed -By Hornet

Sticking with Star Wars for now, I made an Imperial Star Destroyer. Unforunately, it's not a perfect triangle, but it's still close.

NOTE: It's a much better fight if you do not use the blaster

Death Star Two.fed

-By Hornet Right well say hello to the bigger, better Death Star! Unlike my very frist boss, this one is modeled after the Second Death Star from Star Wars Episode VI. There is a trick to killing it, but that shouldnt be hard to figure out.

The theme of the month was star-wars, so I decided to make a Darth Vader model, Failed Miserably, and made this instead.

A total of 8 X-Wing fighters all armed with different weapons to battle, good luck

The X-Wing Attached is the same boss however the 8 fighters are now attached to a rolling core rather than a deploy core.

Maybe instead of having whole-month themes, it should be a 14day contest (that way everyone has 2 weeks to create a boss but it doesn't drag out too long). What do you guys think?

While this is kind of too far off, you could also make it so that the theme is bounded not by time but by a number of entries. Like... relays of 5, perhaps? Considering the nature of Fraxy, you could also do that as a baton relay, too. Heh.

I think this method works fine. Fair enough we haven't had many entries for the first theme, but its a new idea. Give it time, and wait til the end of the month. Together we can decide who's won, and ask them to pick the new theme, but have that as a 14 day contest (NightKev's idea). As the community grows, this ball will roll and will gain momentum. Patience is the key. Remember how small this wiki used to be? Proof even the biggest ideas have to grow from nothing :-D

A 14-day idea?! That means I'd only have less than 6 days to work! Separate categories would be P-awesome (e.g. a monthly one,a weekly one, etc)

Maybe we could make it so if you submit a boss or sign up during the 14-day period you can enter the contest. That way if you're not quite done after day-14 you can still participate, and the judging or whatever will wait until everyone is done.

Hmm, I have no idea. We never picked any judges... >_> <_<
