EV_Taurus.fed |
First in the Zodiac series, and also the first boss
I made after the patch that introduced part invul.
Small and simple, but still fun to fight.
EV_Gemini.fed |
Seccond in the Zodiac series. Splits into twin ships
when the first core is destroyed
EV_Capricorn.fed
Third in the Zodiac series. A two-stage boss made
in the days before editor events. Weak point of
the seccond form is well hidden.
EV_Leo.fed
Fourth in the Zodiac series. Fast and obnoxiously
hard to damage, especially at higher levels.
EV_Sagittarius.fed
Fifth in the Zodiac series. Once again a relatively
simple fight, but very tough at higher levels. My
personal favorite from the Zodiac series.
EV_Virgo.fed
Sixth in the Zodiac series, and the last Sign I have
completed to date. Harder than any other ship
in the series.
EV_Oroboros.fed
Not technically part of the Zodiac series, but
similar in alot of ways. Finding your way inside the
eye isn't nearly as tough as surviving inside
without touching the walls as the ship moves
about.
EV_Gyro Core.fed |
Suprisingly tough for its size, can take a hell of
alot of punishment and its array of 5 large lasers
can shred an uncarefull Fraxian.
EV_G2 Core.fed
The Seccond Gyro Core. Same basic design as the
first, with a few added twists.
EV_Juggernaut V1.fed
First in the Juggernaut series. The philosophy
behind this series was to make "no-brainer'
bosses that were simple to fight but still
challenging and fun. As a result, only 2 of the 10
Joggernaut models have any armor plating.
EV_Juggernaut V2.fed
Seccond in the Juggernaut series. The V2's
firepoweris less foreward-focused that its
predicessor, leaving little room to evade.
EV_Juggernaut V3.fed
The Third in the Juggernaut series. The V3's
main tactic is to charge toward the fraxian and try
to ram him. Fireporer is side-focused; acute timing
is required to sidestep one of v3's charges.
EV_Juggernaut V4.fed
The Fourth in the Juggernaut series. The V4 can
produce an impressive spray of vulcan bullets, but
its main weapons are the 4 gravity wells it uses to
reduce the fraxian's mobility.
EV_Juggernaut V5.fed
The Fifth in the Juggernaut series. The V5 is a
double threat with it's huge beam cannon and
vast homing laser array. The difficulty of the
Juggernaut series starts to ramp up here.
EV_Juggernaut V6.fed
The Sixth in the Juggernaut series. Double beam
cannons continually move toward and away from
the main body, extending their range of lethality.
The extending-retracting wings of the V6 were
made in the days before move-joints.
EV_Juggernaut X1.fed
The Seventh in the Juggernaut series. Orbiting
beam cannons pose the greatest threat, but the
X1 can lay down an impressive bullet spread as
well.
EV_Juggernaut X2.fed
The Eighth in the Juggernaut series. Periodically
saturates the ariia near it with flame. Make sure
you keep you distance, or you'll get burned.
EV_Juggernaut X3.fed
The Ninth in the Juggernaut series. The X3's
main offense is the indestructable sattelite that
orbits it. The sattelite will fly in and try and ram
you from all angles. Keep a close eye on the radar
and you should be able to avoid it.
EV_Juggernaut X4.fed
The Tenth and final Juggernaut. The sunburst that
the X4 commands makes it nearly impossible to get
close to this boss. That combined with the rotating
shields makes this fight much longer than any of
the other Juggernaut fights.
EV_Psion.fed
A tiny hardshell ship, somewhere in difficulty
between boss and drone. The result of some
experimentation with invisible and floating parts.
Not very impressive, but alot of fun to fight.
EV_Laser Grid.fed
Another experiment with hidden floating parts.
A good deal tougher than the Psion, with a
much more impressive main attack.
EV_Radial.fed
I decided that I had to try a spherical boss, and
this was my attempt. Im quite happy with it, though
i generally don't like spherical bosses, and haven't
made one since.
EV_GSL.fed
The Giant Space Lobster. I played through Darius
Gaiden recently and was inspired create this. He
looks kind of silly, but he is by far the hardest
boss I created before Events where added to the
editor. Go for the claws first, then the eyes.
EV_Dragora Pollox.fed
The first boss i've made using editor events. Two-
stage boss on par with Giant Space Lobster. Go for
the tail first, and then under the wings.
EV_Assault Armor LM.fed
The first in a series that I'm planning. The Lance
Model Assault Armor may be small, bit it packs
enough firepower to shame any of my previous
creations. Do not make the mistake of thinking
this is a drone: its a full-powered boss, complete
with a devastating final attack when the main core's
durability is under 15%
| |
EV_Assault Armor SM.fed
The Sword Model Assault Armor. This Armor will
actively try to ram the player, stay on your toes
when it activates its wrist blades. Starts throwing
sworderangs when it's durability is low.
Ev_Assault Armor GM.fed
The Gauss Model Assault Armor. Fights with both
gauss rifles and energy mines, made from small
lasers and powerballs, respectively. Brings a huge
needle gun aray into play when its durability is low.
