ZXB002 Big Core II-D.fed

ZXB002 Big Core II-D

A while ago, I was trying to recreate the bosses from my favorite shmup game, Gradius III (SNES). Then I just decided on Project G instead, and I got carried away. But in between uploading new versions of Project G, I decided to upload the bosses that won't make the cut.

This is the more recent (D) version of the first boss from Mayors on Parade, done FRAXY style. It is my first posted boss, is heavily event oriented, and pretty tough. Comments and suggestions to adjust the difficulty of this boss are welcome.

- suzaku-x.fed

SHA-301-SDa Suzaku Dragon

Anti-Satellite Destroyer, Shitenou series

The Suzaku Dragon was developed primarily as an anti-satellite starship, and it shows. Its three huge lasers are no joke, and any stragglers are quickly taken care of by the Cross-Vulcans and Bullets mounted on its core. Those who get too close will feel the wrath of its six bladed wings.

  byakko.fed

SHA-302-BWb Byakko Wolf

Melee-Based Strike Frigate, Shitenou series

The Byakko Wolf was built for both power and speed, and in both categories it boasts exceptional results. Unlike its counterparts, however, the Byakko Wolf relies more on physical attacks, with its retractable blade claws. Its firepower is nothing to scoff at, either. If its countless vulcans don't take care of the enemy, its frontal lasers and, of course, its claws, will.

  genbu-x.fed

SHA-303-GTc Genbu Fortress

Heavy-Armored Orbital Command Fortress, Shitenou series

An orbital death platform, the Genbu Fortress is unequaled in both offensive and defensive categories. Its precisely-aimed lasers send screaming death towards unsuspecting enemy starships, and its homing lasers, spreader, cross and bullet vulcans make short work of stray fighters. On top of that, increased shielding and regeneration make the Genbu Fortress a true force to be reckoned with.

  seiryuu.fed

SHA-304-REd Seiryuu Eagle

Rapid Counterattack Assault Suit, Shitenou series

Compared to its comrades, Suzaku Dragon, Byakko Wolf and Genbu Fortress, the Seiryuu Eagle is the weakest of the four Shitenou. However, it is the most agile, and despite its size, it holds a numerous amount of vulcans, and a homing laser in the middle section.

  chakra.fed

SHA-310-CRh Chakra Rain

Perimeter Defense Orbital Outpost, Nirvana series

The Chakra Rain is an attack satellite developed for perimeter defense. Its lack of mobility is more than made up by its insane firepower. Its four lasers cut through enemies like nobody's business, and most enemies are too busy dodging countless to notice, courtesy of the 32 gun emplacements on the satellite's ring, which is only vulnerable at the junctions. While the Chakra Rain's firepower exceeds even that of the Genbu Fortress', it is not quite as hard-shelled.

  shiva.fed

SHA-311-SRi Shiva Crown

Orbital Bombardment Platform, Nirvana series

The Shiva Crown was designed as a satellite cannon; its laser is meant to attack ground targets. Realizing that it lacked serious perimetric defense, several cross-vulcans and gun emplacements were placed on its ring so as to provide adequate firepower against enemy fighters, and a booster for quicker target chasing. Its biggest offense is in the rear, with its tentacles firing bullets everywhere and plasma rings with homing lasers taking care of the rest.

  garuda.fed

SHA-312-GZj Garuda Blaze

Heavy Assault Frontline Fighter, Nirvana series

The Garuda Blaze is a heavy fighter designed for quick, powerful strikes. Its multiple bullet launchers make a frontal assault deadly, and the rear is well-guarded by its weapon-ridden tail. It is prone to overheating, however, and discharges its excess heat through combustion on the exhaust ports behind its wings.

  ouroboros.fed

SHA-∞-OXz Ouroboros

SHION Last Resort Ultimate Dreadnought

The pinnacle of the SHION military, the Ouroboros is the result of nearly two decades of research on cutting-edge space weapon technologies. Its sheer size and power consumption requires that it have five separate reactor cores instead of one. Its modular design means that if one of the reactors is destroyed, the entire section detaches and the rest of the ship can continue to function normally.

The Ouroboros' primary method of attack is to curl up and attempt to trap you inside, where whole battalions unlucky enough to be caught will be ripped to shreds in seconds. Even if they're not trapped, however, its myriad of bullet emplacements create a curtain of fire that's incredibly tough to avoid. Your best bet is to keep your distance and strike the head.

  icarus.fed

MRN-09c-7 Icarus γ

Meridian Supervariable Assault Suit Prototype

Pilot: 1st Lieutenant Serena Abernathy, 47th-1st Airborne Special Forces Squadron 'Corinth', callsign Corinth 3

The Icarus is the first of the second-generation Variable Assault Suits developed by Meridian chief engineer Rizuko Hayate. These 'Supervariable Assault Suits' have the capability of transforming from agile fighter mode into heavy assault mech mode. Seeing as this is just a prototype, the transformation has not been fully implemented yet.

  prometheus.fed

MRN-15x-3 Prometheus Σ

Meridian Supervariable Assault Suit Prototype

Pilot: Captain Sean Devlin, 47th-1st Airborne Special Forces Squadron 'Corinth', callsign Corinth 1

The Prometheus is a step up from its predecessor, having increased armaments and firepower in exchange for some speed and mobility. It is also the first variable Assault Suit to be equipped with anti-aircraft tactical lasers, spmething unheard pf before in mechs. It is still in the prototype stages, however, so the transformation sequence is not yet implemented.

  swastika.fed

CP252a1 Pietrov Swastikannon AX

Russian Wide-Range Rotating Artillery

Based largely on the Crosskannon's chassis, the Swastikannon is optimized for sweeping motions, also gaining homing lasers, though at the expense of some firepower. Also a tribute to the first boss from the Gradius Gaiden bossrush.

  leafen.fed

CP251 Leafen Orbitkannons AYG

Russian Perimeter Defense Artillery

The Russian government, with the help of leading German weapons industry Leafen AG, designed a weapon station designed to enforce perimeters. The four orbiting lasers form a square, confining any stray ships inside, where the center armaments will surely make short work of them.

  aleth.fed EUF/S-414.2 Alétheia (Truth)

Developed in the late 2280s by a conclave of weapons and aviation companies, most notably Xassault GmbH and Leafen AG, this aerial assault platform quickly entered service in the European Union. A key player in Operation Troia, the victory against the SHION in 2297, a fleet of merely four Alétheias were enough to bring down their heavy battlecruisers, the SHS-14 Heimdallr and the SHS-44 Vishnu.

Loosely based on the Arkbird from Ace Combat 0, its main armaments are its high-power Minovsky particle beam, and a free-aiming 50-barrel 160mm spreader cannon. Frontal armaments consist of several regular and armor-piercing 160mm cannons, EMP mines, and plasma-cavitation AIM-44 Fireball radar-tracking missiles. The weak point is the back, where its three self-repair modules are; no defenses are stationed there, and the only thing that could catch an enemy off-guard is the spreader. Revisions on the original design are currently being made to address these issues.

fn001.fed Artificial Spellcard #001: False God -Akasha's Will-

For all you Touhou fans out there. I'm experimenting with different bullet hell patterns. Let's see if you can avoid all this with a hitbox ten times bigger, hehe >8)

fn002.fed Artificial Spellcard #002: Cosmic Force -Starlight Ripple-

Four gravity fields constantly pulling every which way amidst a storm of large bullets and rings. This should prove interesting >:)

Note that all you need to do is survive; thanks to the magic of variables, it disappears after 70 waves of power balls have been fired.

fn003..fed Artificial Spellcard #003: Stellar Spiral -Galaxy of Illusions-

OH MY GAH BULLET HELL D:

While this wouldn't be a problem for an avid danmaku player (and a sufficiently small hitbox), Fraxy physics will make this battle slightly infuriating if you approach it head-on. As with the other one, stay alive long enough and it'll self-destruct.

  Madman.fed UnlimitedKone

A artilery based fighting ship with a lot of firepower especially on rank 100. built to be thrown into the action as it does not have a strong defence.

More about madman and more bosses on my user index pageUnlimitedKone

  Planetoid.fed UnlimitedKone

Humans large battle craft with piles of vulcans. one of the best fighting machine built for the war effort.

More about Planetoid and more bosses on my user index page UnlimitedKone.

  infernoinsanity.fed PaperJack

Two words: Inferno Insanity.

The enemy is trying to summon something with a portal! Destroy it before it's too late.

The only weak point it's the middle of the portal. Don't expect that reaching it will be easy.

  deathstar.fed PaperJack

This DeathStar version is enormous. Find the weak point, enter inside the machine and then destroy one by one the energy pillars powering the entire machine.

The thing portrayed is the cannon on a 1/3 scale.

It is beatable at rank 100 now, you must destroy the center of the laser cannon.

(watch out, it's very hard)

v.10

pulseray.fed Salitrynski

Pulser Ray. Some mad scientist decided to put a bunch of lasers on a ship, and aim them at a player. But he was dumb, and didn't have the lasers focused.

Lazy Komaru.fed Salitrynski Komaru Fighters. A massive, slightly overpowered group of fighters. Nothing really special about the fight, but it is wicked fun to do.
Too lazy for a pic today... Proximity Fighter.fed Salitrynski Proximity Fighter. All weapons shoot based on proximity. The farther away, the more homing lassers. the closer you are, the more vulcan fire. Have fun.
  Salitrynski

XF.16 Fighter Series A-5.

Giant lasers, Rows of vulcans, armed to the teeth with bullets and a disc that kills to boot.

LM02casper.fed

By SharkyTrs LM02: Casper. The second experiment into AI, involved using real brain waves from an LMP test pilot, cloned into the ships brain, though when activated, free from the psychic limitations of the human brain, it tapped its new found freedom and linked with the origional test pilot. Their brain waves syncronised at 367%, thus making the ship and the man one being. Roughly based on the now obselete Viper series interceptor, Though has grown since last contact, threat level unknown.

LM01belthasar.fed

By SharkyTrs First of the Living Metal Project ---- LM01: Belthasar. The LM Project was established in 2156AD. as a gateway into advanced AI development, Belthasar is the very first prototype, using an unstable mind pattern to enduse a man-made 5 fold skitsophrinia it uses 1 brain to fully control its own body and 4 ripper drones simultaniously (if downloaded on 22/04/08 download again as I forgot to add a +add variable to the main timer in effect the bits didn't detach fixed now tho!)

Guyver.fed

By SharkyTrs Guyver bio-booster Armor. look all you want in editor just press play. but with far too many events, it only works in editor, in-game events simply fail starting and stopping at random and not completing chains, very frustrating i'm still working on it but cannot find the problem, any help appreciated. Now it seems when the file is first opened it malfunctions but pressing reset cures it, still looking for the problem though......

outpost.fed

By SharkyTrs Defence outpost. Armed with heavy bullet spreads, and two fighter squads (they are simple design but my fraxy mod makes them like my ship), the leader of each squad (noticable as the ones that try to ram you) must be destroyed before you start bomarding the outpost, plus the outpost will try to follow you if you stray too far but isn't fool proof. completed rank 57 1 death (1 stupid bloody mistake death) check you tube for vid.

FireFlash.fed

By SharkyTrs My finest creation, could be a drone but because of the shear difficulty staying alive against this ship it had to be a boss. The 'FireFlash' has next gen gravity core technology, so much advanced that its main attack/defence is an artifical Sun. PS. The sun can't be defeated, and you'll swear that little bloody thing can read your mind. DON'T Stay flying in the same direction for more than a fraction of a second is the key. (rank 1 looks best, rank 100 is only slighly harder)

Apache.fed

By SharkyTrs My favorite creation, dificult, manuverable, and heavily armed with 16 sets of Tomahawk Missles, Fusion Hellfire Array, trusty minigun, and state of the art flak Shield. A direct hit to the cockpit is the best chance to destroy it. Caution after it's Tomahawks are depleted, it will deploy two vulcan drones and divert energy to the hellfire array making the craft almost unaproachable, best to destroy it quickly. PS much love went into this creation

r9.fed

By SharkyTrs r-9a 'arrowhead', my homage to r-type, sticking to what works the r-9a can be killed in one shot, but will it let you shoot it? not while armed with force pod, bits, vulcancannon, and a wave cannon. (will upgrade force pod o 'fire' at a later date

hyperarmor.fed

By SharkyTrs Hyperion armored Booster Suit, can ne one say mecha? latest version of fraxy fixes event looping issues, not really a serious boss but just an example of animating weaponry, the shiruken launchers casing flicks back for firing and reteval, and there is a little charging animation for the lazer arm. Having fun with events more soon....

hyperarmorv2.fed

By SharkyTrs Hyperion armored Guard, I've always been trying to develop a boss with melee attacks.... well I finally sucseeded. Took a long time to sort the event timing out but I sorted it eventually. Also armed with a shield and shoulder mounted minigun turret. my favorite fight at the moment.

injcore.fed

By SharkyTrs Injection Core, another play with event timing, weaponry only fires when the injectors lock into place with the outershell, ironicly it is only when the injectors are active that the core is vulnerable.... not much room to move and weaponry that WILL force you to keep moving, a very evil creation and very frustrating to fight ;P, i'd like to see a better fraxyer than me beat this one, it is do-able my record is three deaths on rank..... 1 :(

Doppleganger.fed Dopplegangerv2.fed

By SharkyTrs v2 modded by TrueTactics Fighting yourself? just an example of altering weapons timings with variables. hard work. but two Abullets firing every 5 frames, timing intermittent firings of 2 homing lasers firing 5 frames apart. Took some work to figure this one out. The modded version by TrueTactics adds more weaponry which makes the fight much much more difficult

Terridax.fed by boxorak a Fraxy model modefied with more weapons. he's kind of a tutorial boss. Terry has a lot of health, is fast, and blasts you with guns, lasers and sonic lasers.

blazak.fed by boxorak an improvement to the defense turret line, Blazak is very powerful. However, due to this, Blazak's Ark reactor core is very unstable. If any laser fire gets into the core, the turret explodes. fortunately, the core takes a lot of damage before it breaks.

turret canard (download coming soon) by boxorak Moble Proximity turret. It's got lasers, homing lasers, even the new Sonic-injected cannon...basically, the ultimate in laser defense. the turret does leave its core unprotected, though.

egress reactor.fed by boxorak a reactor shaped like a bird. why? Its designer, Vex, thinks it to be more efficient. it is incredibly weak and suceptible to volatile reactions, which makes it detonate in an extremely dangrous explosion. meaning it will explode in your face and damage your ship when it dies.
vex.png( vex.fed by boxorak the massive tentacled flagship commanded by Emperor Vex, and docking station for his guards, the Bit Blades. Ironically, Vex puts the ship on autopilot and escapes for the teleporter at the start of the fight. Cowardice aside, this thing has lots of weapons, annoying lasers, and more weapons and lasers on the tentacles, which mean you'll die more than once. Be warned: even if you destroy the ship, you still have to contend with the Bit Blades!
iblis prototype.png iblis.fed by boxorak a "secret weapon" robot designed by Vex under the commision of the Mongers, a mysterious group. The pay: the Chaos emeralds and the Master Emerald required to power it. The result was an apocalyptic monster with weapons capable of decimating continents, if not planets. this thing has to be killed. Guess who's the lucky shmuck to get the job? (note: you need a shield if you even DARE thinking about doing this on level 100. I mean it, dude!)
no picture. sorry! robed one.fed by boxorak the mysterious leader of the Mongers, the Robed one patrols the stars with his elite guards, the Haloids. thing is, you've really made him mad. now you have to take out ALL the ships to win.
nada. monger Taurox.fed

by boxorak Heavy weapons master of the Mongers. He may not have the fastest ship, but he does have one of the strongest. Taurox has a lot of health, heavy weapons, and lots of firepower. Good luck!
try again! apocalon outpost .fed by boxorak a small outpost with several defenders. If you damage it, the defenders will decide they need to move their Rudders and chase after you. kill all of them, and you win.
event horizon.png event horizon.fed by boxorak for weeks, this ship has been seen popping in and out of real space. now, after a transmission stating that the Horizon was going to summon the dreadnought Maleficus, you've ben ordered to take the Horizon out. if you can destroy the ship's main core, it will detonate her antimatter power cells and blow it up! just be careful, she might drop one of their Shockwave bombs. good luck!

Tamalthus.jpg

tamalthus.fed

by boxorak nothing to worry about, just a TMLTHS drone gone bezerk, one blaster shot should put it in its pla- wait. It has another core? IT'S A PAZUZU STARFIGHTER! KILL IT BEFORE IT REPORTS BACK TO ITS MAIN BASE!
  pazuzu vulcan fighter.fed by boxorak

I've got an incoming transmission. it's for you.

To whomever owns the starfighter Fraxy:

You are in a restricted area. Leave this place now. And don't you dare try entering this galaxy at another location. this entire galaxy is a restricted area.

We, who you call the Pazuzu, own this galaxy. While we share your views of reaching the stars outside our home, we do not appreciate a hostile takeover of our world. Guessing from your media that we scanned, you will feel the same way. That was also what I found out when I sent that drone into your base. I'm sending a vulcan fighter to escort you out. Return later when you those demons of a company aren't with you.

>>>>Pazuzu lieutenant Tamalthus

gamera.fed by boxorak Presenting....a Godzilla ripoff! no,really, it's a godzilla ripoff. Gamera has more weapons than you can shake a claw at, and will ensure a quick and painfull death with its ultimate weapon: THE SHOOP-DA-WOOP CANNON! (incidentaly, I think I got Drunkengoomba beat in the psychotic laser boss department.^_^)
shoopdawhoop.fed by boxorak ok, we've got a very violent ship with a laser that can take out a major star system. no problem, right? WRONG. Unlike gamera, this ship's omega laser has no spaces to hide in. good luck!
the lost ark.fed by boxorak the Ark of the covanent, or as it is better known, "the Lost Ark" is an incredibly deadly ship. In fact, it's so powerful, scientists are working out how it can power a SDW(shoop-da-whoop)cannon, an incredibly powerful Hypersonic wave, several homing lasers, four blades, several remote blasts, and an incredibly weak engine in one power core. No, this does not prove the existince of gods, since Pazuzu ships have the Blessed feature, and still aren't that powerful. Something else is supplying the power..
link problems. by boxorak another obsenely powerful ship, the Ark of the legion uses most of it to supply power to the decoy core protecting it. once that goes down, you can destroy the main core.
maleficus.fed by boxorak a very deadly ship with multiple weapons, a large laser cannon, and various cores and weapons that ensure it keeps going even if its main core goes boom(did I mention it's HUGE?!?!?). Why am I telling you this? It's in firing range of earth. destroy its thrusters, then its cannon, then the core keeping the shielding over the main core offline, then the main core, then the rest of the ship. after that, it dies.
scatter core.fed by boxorak a little more true to how a gradius big core moves, the Scatter Core moves around like a drunken honeybee. It has grenades, lasers, laser blads, in short, all the matereal needed to make you die by a false move.
eve star.fed  by boxorak fast and deadly. avoid lasers and strike from a distance.
  Fripp.fed

by Jake

Fripp is a prototype for an all-purpose robotic security system. An agile and well armed sentry ship that can rapidly convert into a stationary defense cannon. Unfortunately, this particular prototype has developed a mind of its own, escaped from it's manufacturer, and is presently roaming around mindlessly firing on random civilians it believes to be "intruders".

Luckily for you, Fripp has a fatal weakness. When in it's turret mode it uses 4 gravity anchors to stabilize itself against the immense recoil of the cannon. Destroy these anchors and the cannon will rip itself apart, destroying Fripp's protective shell in the process.

  blobber2.fed by Jake

The BlobLobber is the modified delivery ship of a

hapless space courier. Tired of being robbed by

roving gangs of space pirates he installed super

powerful afterburners on the ships engines, and a specialized weapons system that lobs hundreds of

blobs of plasma all around the ship. When space

pirates or gangs of space high school dropouts arrive

to harass him, they get a nasty surprise as their

would-be target accelerates away much like a space octopus escapes in a cloud of space ink.

And yes, I did make a BlobLobber 1 ages ago, it was one of my first creations. Sometime I'll get around to uploading it here to avoid confusion.

  stationz.fed

by

Jake

Located in the center of the galaxies largest hyper-cosmic-ion cloud is Station Z. This mammoth

structure is the universes most sophisticated space

power plant, gathering massive amounts of hypercosmic space energy from the hyper-ion space cloud, or

whatever. The nearly invincible structure is equipped

with a powerful defense system operated by an incredibly sophisticated AI.

This is a challenging enough fight as it is, NOT meant to be

played on high ranks. This took me forever to make, have fun trying to destroy it.

  Armadillo.fed by Jake

My first creation after Fraxy was updated. I took full advantage of the editors new scripting abilities to make

a transforming boss with a two-phase attack pattern.

Armadillo can only be attacked when it's protective armour

opens up. Unfortunately for you, this also happens to

reveal the ships main weapons, two massive forward

facing lazers (far more powerful than lasers spelled with an 's'). Time your attacks skillfully and you can defeat him

without a single death.

  waek.fed by Jake

Waek (said like 'way-ick') is the universes most lethal

robotic attack ship. Waek is brutally sadistic, frenzied, berserk, and armed with massive flamethrowers and tentacle mounted beam swords. Waek will rip your face

off with all the grace of an epileptic under a strobe light.

A definite favorite of all my creations. Waek flails around

and charges unpredictably all over the place. It's a really

fun, really chaotic fight.

  Waeklight.fed by Jake

Meet Waek Lite, a smaller cousin to the infamously sadistic Waek attack robot.

I loved my Waek so much I decided to make another ship

in the same style. Expect a similarly chaotic fight, with some scripted attack patterns to keep things interesting.

  mercuricfence.fed by Jake

The Mercuric Fence was just me playing around

with rotating shields again. Every part of the ship is

either invincible itself, or protected by the circular shield, which is also invincible. To attack the ship you'll need to find a way to destroy the shield.

  sidearm.fed by Jake

An older creation, but one I've always liked. The

Sidearm was an early attempt at making a battle with

two phases. You start by attacking the central part

through gaps in a rotating shield, then are able to

attack the two side pods that turn around to attack

you.

  dreieck.fed by Jake

The Dreieck is the favorite battleship of space

fascists all across the galaxy. Useful for quelling

an uprising, destroying would-be freedom fighting rebels, and generally striking fear into the populace.

This is another old creation. It's a really straightforward

fight, just a big ship with guns all over it. However, it's

gigantic, it's cool looking, and it's still pretty fun to fight,

so I thought I would include it here.

  Lowball.fed

By

Coolant

My first full-fledged fraxy boss, Lowball was a test of my scripting ability and creativeness. It's a relatively easy fight, but you shouldn't let that give you much comfort. It's not going down without taking some lives with it. I had a lot of inspiration from Sharky's creations, especailly the doppleganger, and my boss uses some of the methods he uses. I did them all on my own, in my own way, and I'm proud of what came of it.

On a side note, I really hope I didn't screw anything up with this edit. If I did, please let me know and fix it. I don't want to be making the same mistakes again.

goliath.fed

Screature's Goliath

The first boss I ever created back when fraxy was young! No

events, no timings, no invincible pieces, no transformations.

Just a simple minded brute with three heads and two arms, that

likes to get all bolshy and all "up in ya face", like. Take the role

of David and show Goliath who the boss really is!

Rank 1 is a bit of a pushover

Rank 100, and the giant starts to flex it's muscles!

*Hint* No hints, just shoot the bastard!

Definately fun to beat up the big guy for once!

swarm.fed

Screature's Swarm

The second boss I ever created back when fraxy was young!

Hehe :-). Six ships who's wings fold and turn to aim at you.

Shooting off a wing will slow them down, but it'll take more to

stop them! At high ranks it literally becomes a swarm!

Remember to look behind you, they're sneaky buggers!

The drones are autonomous, but the brain can be

destroyed for a much needed item!

Easy-peasy at rank 1 (with no deaths)

Hellishly difficult at rank 100!!

*Hint* aim for the wings, and outflank them. Best to keep

camera centred on ship to see all around you.

squid.fed

Screature's Squid

This boss will have you challenged right til the end.

It doesn't get easier with every piece shot off. Oh no!

This boss simply changes. With an organic lifelike limbs

that literally try to defend it's other limbs, and fighting

all the way til death, this boss makes for an interesting

challenge.

Difficulty scales really well:

Easy-peasy at rank 1 (with no deaths)

Near impossible with lvl1 bullets rank 100

*Hint* aim for the soft joints. Don't stay in one place, or

it will point everything it has at you!

defender.fed

Screature's Defender

Utilizing technology researched in top secret labs (aka my

FraxyForever project), this boss will constantly adjust to face

it's strongest side towards you! No more hacking away at

weakpoints, this boss won't let you get at em! Expose the

heart and strike fast, this boss lives up to it's name!

A challenge enough at rank 1

Only nerves of steel will destroy the beast at rank 100

*Hint* don't panic!...especially when caught between the beams.

Take slow movements, go with the flow......

dodger.fed

Screature's Dodger

This boss is for the bullet dodge fans out there. With ten distinct

levels to choose from (the first digit of your rank), there's challenge

enough for all skill levels. Simply dodge the waves of rays and the

barrage of power-balls and maintain fire on the core!

Level 0 (ranks 1 to 9) is a walk in the park......for beginners

Level 4 (ranks 40 to 49)......mid level

Level 8 (ranks 80 - 89).......for expert dodgers only!

Don't even bother with level 9

*Hint* slow rays are used so you can see where the bullets are

headed to make dodging easier. Power-balls will usually aim right

at you.

orbitv3.fed

Screature's Orbit-v3

Don't let the picture fool you, this boss is designed to confuse, and

confuse it does! Panels orbit the core in mesmerizing patterns,

protecting it at all angles. Wait for an opening and go for it! Just one

thing, do not hang around in one place for too long. If the remote blast

doesn't get you, the flame will!

Nice'n'slow, easy does it at rank 1

You better be quick on your feet and alert in mind at rank 100

*Hint* try to hit nothing but the core. The more defense panels you blow,

the more constant firing lasers you have to deal with! The burner will

always try to point at you.

maze.fed

Screature's Maze

Squeeze through tight gaps and find a path to the core! Narrow corridors,

blind turns and dead ends await you as the core flees your onslaught!

Keep a cool head, and you will prevail. No maze is ever the same! Keep

moving, or the walls will close in around you!

Easy going at rank 1, not much movement of core or panels

Rank 100 is where the true fight is at!

*Hint* the laser is layered four times, so is powerful, and it always aims

away from the core's open weakpoint. An idea is simply to avoid the walls

until the spinning stops, then go in for the kill!

Pulsar Revenant.fed By JPteeto Multi tentacled vortex of gravitation and annhilation. A celebration of offense and defense, in a hard candy shell.
13thRaven.fed By JPteeto Humanoid Robot piloted by a human mercenary! He's being paid 15,000 credits to assassinate you! With a building-sized robot! Is this fair?
PBcannon.fed By JPteeto The Planet Buster Cannon is attacking! Don't let it bust your planet with it's cannon!

An excercise in Curtain-fire evasion and peripheral awareness.

  Boxer.fed By JPteeto

The Boxer Battleship, aptly named, does not punch, does not bite your ear. It puts you in a box. It's ok, that's how you win.

(Shamelessly ripped off from a suggestion FraxyFactory gave me. 'The Clawtrap' only WISHES it was this cool.)

  •
Evofraction.fed By JPteeto Starts small, but works its way up to being a engine of anhilation. Enjoy the evolution, evade the devastation. Do we even need to say "Shoot the core"?
Clawtrap.fed By JPteeto The jaws open, the jaws close, revealing and denying the path to victory. Crush without being crushed, strike to the heart! (I totally owe Fraxy Factory for the inspiration and encouragement on this one: Thanks!)
SouthernLights.fed By JPteeto Uses a hail of heavy-weapons fire and goalie tactics to guard it's core. Break through for the win!

Aurora Omni.fed By JPteeto Learning from the mistakes of it's children, its punishing barrage and multi-layered defensive techniques present a harrowing gauntlet.
Star Of Death.fed By JPteeto One proton torpedo fired down the ventilation shaft... oh wait, they installed armor. Crap.
TheShield.fed By JPteeto Guards it's one open point with a hail of weapons fire. Don't be intimidated!
TTO BP.fed By JPteeto The TTO Battle Platform attacks with blinding fury: Stay out of it's main firing arc, and be wary of the support fighter!
ChaosEgg.fed By JPteeto Strike from within and from without, crack the shell and eat the yolk. Mmmm... Entropy.
Chaos Egg Proto.fed By JPteeto The original chaos egg, a precursor to the birth of true thermodynamic decay.

Dark Bahamut.fed By JPteeto Inspired by the Youtuber and Fraxy-er of the same name. Dragon Breath, and iron hard scales. Clip its wings to win!

- The 'Moths' were at first a series of Axis tributes, but as I made more, they became more of their own entity. Recognizable by the -Oth in their name, and the M-shaped blades in the front of nearly every boss.

*Note that I fight the Moths at Rank 25. Satisfaction is not guarenteed above that! Go ahead and try though.

Rubidioth - The first Moth, though actually the 3rd made. A first attempt at using the ever useful 30-60 joints. Be wary of his gravity field. Note that it is one of the few that does not have the M-blade in front.

Strontoth.fed - By Areo Strontoth - Moth #2. The last one thus far to have detaching sub-bosses to them. It is well armored with a giant spinning thing. Because who doesn't love giant spinning things?

  Yttrioth.fed - By Areo

Yttrioth - Moth #3. The first one to completely use the 30-60 joints, it loosely resembles FraxyFactory's fantastic Oxyaxis in one form. The 30-60 joints are easily one of the most versitile Fraxy pieces, as seen in many Moths and FF's later creations.

Zirconioth.fed

- By Areo

Zirconioth - Moth #4. A vicious scorpion machine, heavily armed with an assortment of lasers, vulcans, and power balls. One could go as far to say it's merely a more difficult Yttrioth, as they share some similarities in design.

*Note the picture is sideways. The right is the front.

  Niobioth.fed - By Areo

Niobioth - Moth #5. Niobioth has more 'transformations' than the previous two, but they're less linked. Either could have been in either form. Niobioth has a fair share of weaponry new to the series, one of which was inspired by JPteeto's Evofraction. A more 'unique' fight.

  Molyoth.fed - By Areo

Molyoth - Moth #6. Molyoth was a mess to design. Trying to make a weak point that is part of a moving piece that when destroyed allows access to a stationary piece is a chore. How well it fits is satisfying. Its two forms are distinctly different in what weapons you're dodging and where you're aiming.

*The bricks in the 'claws' are indeed weak points, they just happened to look better there than glowing green crosses.

This boss, as with most of my bosses, are not meant to be fought with the blaster weapon. The splash damage will make the fight easier than intended.

  ;Technioth2.fed - By Areo

Technioth Ver 2 - Moth #7. This boss shows the fine line between easy and overkill. I don't think I found that line. Not one of my favorites. Note that if you downloaded this boss on 2/21 or 2/22, you need to re-download it. A couple of edits were made to fix a bug, and to make the boss more fair and less frusterating.

  Ruthenoth.fed - By Areo

Ruthenoth - Moth #8. Heavily inspired by A70M1C's Reactor 07 and less so by JPteeto's Evofraction, Ruthenoth is another installment of "bosses that will beat the crap out of you if you don't kill them fast enough." Strike hard, strike fast, and pay attention around you. Movement space will disappear very quickly during this fight. On a side note, it didn't even look remotely Metroid-esque until I gave him teeth. But he looked so much better with teeth. Love your work A70M1C! =p

*Note the picture is upside down for menacing purposes.

Rhodioth.fed - By Areo Rhodioth - Moth #9. In a highly unorthodox fight, Rhodioth slams you with an array of weapons, manily powerballs, blades, and a pair of large discs, all while sharply turning and dodging what comes its way. But those are generally defensive weapons and tactics! Something's fishy here. Striking quickly and accurately while narrowly avoiding its strikes is the only way.
  Palladoth.fed - By Areo

Palladoth - Moth #10.

Data File 46.16.10 'Palladoth'

Records define subject 0.10/Palladoth as one of the earlier MOTHs designed by the Foundation, and subsequently one of the first to be jettisoned into deep space after the incident 6 years ago. Records detailing the Palladoth's specific original purpose in creation have been long since incinerated. Present day reports show that the Palladoth's intelligence is significantly less than that of most MOTHs, and much of its current activity is gathering and adding various junk to itself, becoming an amalgamation. As with most of the failed bio-mechanical MOTHs, it is uncontrollable, unpredictable, and likely dangerous. Present reports still fail to indicate why subject Palladoth, as like most MOTHs, is still alive. Appears to be searching for something, predictions indicate that unlocated MOTH 0.37/Radoth is likely target, as understood from cerebral data recovered from defeated MOTH 0.05/Niobioth.

Silvoth.fed - By Areo Silvoth - Moth #11. Actually the first Moth created. I've decided to leave it how it is rather than try to make this boss remotely enjoyable. It only exists on this website for completion's sake, I don't expect anyone to fight it other than to wonder why he's here.

  Cadmioth.fed - By Areo

Cadmioth - Moth #12.

Data File 01.03.06 'Foundation'

The Acrox Foundation was formed by Michael Acrox in 2023. For the following 43 years, the Foundation researched and mass-produced various goods for uses in military and resource gathering. The Foundation was generally unheard of until 2037, when they began producing large-scale bio-mechanical machines of various use known as MOTHs. The Acrox foundation was shut down in March 2056 after the incident a month prior.

Data File 48.03.12 'Cadmioth'

Subject 0.12/Cadmioth was the first MOTH designed and put to use by the Foundation in 2037. During its existence it was used for heavy weapons distribution and use by the Air Force. It was one of the 4 MOTHs involved in the Foundation incident 19 years later, where it was destroyed.

Indioth - Moth #13.

Data File 49.09.13 'Indioth'

Formerly a deep space transport vessel, subject 0.13/Indioth was upgraded with heavy weapons and defenses and named a MOTH by the Foundation in 2043, to increase protection on precious cargo from the various predators that roam the galaxies. After the incident, subject 0.13/Indioth appears to have gained the ability to transform, along with significantly more powerful weapons and a trio of detatchable 'Drifter'-Class Drones. No longer a transport ship but now another weapon of terror, the subject was last sighted near Antares three weeks ago. These Air Force data banks do not contain its current location or exactly how subject 0.13/Indioth gained its new weaponry after the incident.

  Iodioth.fed - By Areo

Iodioth - Moth #17.

Data File 53.09.17 'Iodioth'

The monsterous 0.17/Iodioth was constructed in late 2056, a few months after the incident. These Air Force data files indicate that subject MOTH was created by 0.37/Radoth from salvaged 0.08/Ruthenoth parts after its failed attack and subsequent destruction on the Sycac Colony. Unlike most MOTHs, subject 0.17/Iodioth was built for no purpose other than intergalactic warfare as one of 0.37/Radoth's far-reaching implements of terror. Subject 0.17/Iodioth and its two "brother" MOTHs currently assist 0.37/Radoth in excerting its control over the remaining MOTHs. Subject is armed with a series of blades and launching claws, in addition to a vicious blade-disk. It will also charge its targets if they attempt to flee. Subject currently has a $6 Billion bounty on its 'head.'

4/17: Updated. Bug fixed, aesthetically improved, and more interesing to fight.

4/21: Updated again. Large bug that caused it to delete itself at 80% core life fixed.

-Warning! Fighters on high difficulties will find the blade-disk very difficult to avoid.

*Somewhat inspired by SharkyTrs -Armor series.

Xenoth.fed

- By Areo

Xenoth & Kryptoth - Moths #18 and 36. Finally, I actually get a boss that works right since the Fraxy update. It's crazy how many of my ideas are now doable because of this, great stuff. This one here's an idea I've wanted to do for a while but until the events, it just wasn't possible. Xenoth is armed with basically every trick in the book, and a very large number of bullets and bullet twins. It also comes with a mini-Moth, Kryptoth. Be wary of destroying Kryptoth though, Xenoth won't like it very much. Also, there's a backstory to the Moths now, in case you haven't noticed.

As always, be wary of fighting Moths above Rank 25.

Caesioth - Moth #19. Actually the second Moth created. One of only 2 that do not have the signiture M-blade in the front of the ship. Coming off of Silvoth, I still felt the need for detaching sub-bosses, though not to Silvoth's absurd extent. Its tracking-laser isn't lethal anymore, either.

Sticking with Star Wars for now, I made an Imperial Star Destroyer. Unforunately, it's not a perfect triangle, but it's still close.

NOTE: It's a much better fight if you do not use the blaster

  Death Star Two.fed

-By Hornet Right well say hello to the bigger, better Death Star! Unlike my very frist boss, this one is modeled after the Second Death Star from Star Wars Episode VI. There is a trick to killing it, but that shouldnt be hard to figure out.

  CelestialPhenoix.fed - By BugStyleXX
nuclearbastard.fed - By StonerGriffon - The Nuclear Bastard - With constantly tracking turrets, homing rays, and a few other nasty surprises, the Nuclear Bastard is sure to live up to its name... especially on higher ranks
bullethellcore.fed - By StonerGriffon - Bullet-Hell Core - Simple, but potentially deadly at even Rank 1. It gets progressively easier with each core section destroyed, but the amount of bullets is sure to give a run for your money. You're also pretty much required to take out the two frontal sections if you even DARE to go for the main core. You'll see why...
  gauntletcore.fed

- By StonerGriffon

- Gauntlet Core - A boss that forces you to fly between its long sidewalls, which just tend to be armed to the teeth with multiple lasers that intermittently fire in intervals. Another danger is the pair of boosters that make it dash forward in an attempt to ram you, which gets extremely possible on higher ranks.
labyrinthcore.fed - By StonerGriffon - Labyrinth Core - A project created through utter boredom. Find the right path(s) through the maze and destroy the core! Watch out for those spinning Blades though!
crescentraycore.fed - By StonerGriffon - Crescent Ray Core - Another little experiment with "custom" weaponry. This guy fires quite an impressive fan of bullets but within the core, he's got a little laser that I made up by combining A LOT of Power Ball guns, making what looks like a laser with a bending "wave" effect to it. On higher ranks, you can really see the weapon's effects.
  expandercore.fed

- By

StonerGriffon

- Expander Core - An experiment with the new "Move" parts. Nothing overly special, but it's hard due to the horrendous amount of fire it can produce, especially on higher ranks.
  accipiterds.fed

- By StonerGriffon

- Accipiter Defense Satellite - Another experiment with some "Move" parts. Could prove to be a bit of a challenge to face, due to a little, sinister protection device it has, as well as some rapid-fire Anti-Aircraft weapons.
  wraithcore.fed

- By StonerGriffon

- Wraith Core - An experiment that should've turned out cooler than it should have. This ship isn't too hard as long as you dodge well. If only the "wraith" pods could be detached and not just blow up, all because they were in Hide mode. Also, keep an eye out for a nifty little custom laser fired from this thing.
  xcore.fed

- By StonerGriffon

- X-Core - Simply named for the shape this bad boy has, you might not like fighting this guy, especially on higher Ranks. X marks the spot... for your pain.
  xcoremk2.fed

- By StonerGriffon

- X-Core Mk.2 - The original X-Core's smaller, more durable, and much more lethal brother. At first, it might not seem like much, but as you damage this guy, you might think you're smacking one of the worse hornet nests you've seen. Fighting this at Rank 100 is NOT for the faint of heart, geriatric computers, or those who hate making a visit to Bullet Hell on an uber-epic grade.
fortress.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - My first creation.
GenoBreaker.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - This bugger is freakin' enormous. Inspired by the Hexabeam Cannon and Zoids (the TV show).

FireStar.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - It was supposed to be an improvement on the hydra, that's all...
FireStarmkII.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - Two more arms, more thrusters, and less spinny blade things. It's faster and even more deadly.
horde.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - Another Multiship. Yay!
Hunter.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - Huge reach, homing lasers, and obscene speed make this the most difficult foe I've ever faced. Good luck...
beemz.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - The Stryker-X v1. Please give me input for an upgrade.
Gripper.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - The Gripper. This thing will mess you up more than Ronald Reagan (the gipper) messed America up. Oh, snap! Political humor! Oh yeah, there's a transformers joke with this boss too, so yeah. Good luck.
Daathcore.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - DaathMek Core consists of four rings. Four rings... OF PAIN!!
Concorde.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - The Concorde has very little, but what it has, it has in droves. Shield is useless. Keep away and keep shooting.
Needler.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - To celebrate the release of Halo 3, I've made a fraxy-fied version of a beloved weapon. Only this guy is a little more intimidating.
Spydermk1.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - The Spyder Mark 1 is one of my favorite ships to fight. I hope you like it as much.
Spydermk2.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - The Spyder Mark 2 sacrifices a lot of fire power, but it's faster AND has better armor. An athletic boss fight.
Spydermk3.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - Fixed an orientation issue and added more firepower. Still a fast, frenetic boss fight, and a definite upgrade.
Terminal Core - By SickSadSatanicæ - It's... THE TERMINAL CORE!!! What am I going to make next, a giant guitar? Cantii? Maybe...
Hatredcopter.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - Yes, ladies and jerks, it's THE one and only Hatredcopter, as inspired by Dethklok! Don't get your face chopped off!
Spyral Core.fed - By SickSadSatanicæ - You people and your "core" ships. Jeez. Here's one for you: The Spyral Core. Sponsored by Wyld Stallion.
fraxybet.zip By SickSadSatanicæ - 26 bosses, all unique and difficult, one for each letter of the English alphabet. If you can beat all 26 of these guys in one life, even on level one, you have earned my undying resepect. Each of them has a different weak point (besides the obvious aspect of it being, you know, the core...)

Note: All creations with 'mod' in the name look about the same as the original but have been modified using scripting and new parts. The changes are to make them more efficent and may be easier or more difficult than before. The modifications will not be noted; that is for you to find out...

bigcore ex.fed

bigcore15.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Big Core Mk. 1.5 is based off of the "oddball" Gradius series, specifically Nemesis 2 and 3 from the MSX. The actual name of the boss is Riot Warship. It shoots more lasers than the old Big Core and is slightly more difficult.

bigcore175.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Big Core Mk. 1.75 is based off of the first boss of the Homebrew Shmup, GR3 and it's variants. It has more weapons added on in order to compensate for the lack of reflecting lasers and its second form from the game.

bigcore25.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Big Core Mk. 2.5 is based off of a hard boss from the Nemesis MSX series. The actual name is Mayhem Warship. This version shoots high-powered lasers directly in front and launches homing lasers. Tough to kill due to the narrow opening.

bigcore escort.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Big Core Mk. 1 Escort is a modified ship that is being escorted by a squadron of heavy fighters. The ship is a prototype design for a Big Core carrier and has weapons designed at protecting the fighters. Take them out fast!

bigcore dux.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Big Core Mk. 1 Deluxe is a highly advanced form of the original Big Core, designed to be a stand-alone heavy assault vessel. It sports many weapons and will decimate anything it it's path. Shields are highly recommended.

tetran2.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Tetran Ver. 2 is based off of the Tetran fought in Gradius 5 meaning that if you wait long enough, the arms will start spinning in a frenzy.;

rollingcore.fed

heavengate.fed By CrossTheRubicon Heaven's Gate is the "secret" boss from Gradius Gaiden, fought on your second loop. Some think that this boss is the brother to Big Core Mk. 3 and I can see why.

beacon.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Beacon was introduced in Gradius 3 SNES and improved in Gradius 5. This boss was impossible to recreate as the signature move, Reflecting Lasers, cannot be created. In order to make Beacon presentable, more weapons were added.

lasertetran.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Laser Tetran was the first boss in the Gradius Gaiden Boss Rush. Although it doesn't look like you can hit the core, don't worry. All you need is a focused aim and you'll be fine.

shieldcore.fed

By CrossTheRubicon Shield Core is a big pain. A very big pain indeed. This boss was created before the Shield weapon was created and is insanely powerful. Only luck and good planning will see you through. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have a Shield and a Blur Decoy equipped.

goodluck.fed By CrossTheRubicon This apocalyptic boss is the ultimate creation in the Big Core series and is unbelievably powerful. The arms are destroyable as well as most weapons. If you wish to have some chance at winning follow this advice. 1) Have Shields. 2) Trash the fighters and gun bits first and power up. 3) Destroy the front arms. 4) Patience is key! There is a reason the file is called "goodluck"...

phalanxcore.fed

By CrossTheRubicon A phalanx was a military formation used in Ancient Greek warfare that plowed over any enemy army that dared to get in their way. Those that saw a phalanx were probably terrified at what may be considered to be the first tank. Phalanx Core will elicit that same fear in any who dare to challenge it. Shields are a must! Hold your ground and you shall be victorious! Good luck to you...

swordfleet.fed By CrossTheRubicon This bunch of deadly ships is named after the Sword Fleet from Thunder Force V. These ships are very strong and very powerful. Shields are greatly recommended and patience is key. If you go and try to rush them, you will be toast in seconds. Leading them on is a much better idea.

armoredcore mk2.fed By CrossTheRubicon Armored Core Mk. 2 is a radical upgrade from the first Armored Core. It definitely breaks the record for having the most cores! This boss comes from the second boss rush in Gradius V.
tenken.fed By CrossTheRubicon The Tenken Battleship somewhat resembles a heavily armed cargo ship, but beware! Things are not always what they appear to be. Use caution or else you're toast!
blitzkrieg.fed By CrossTheRubicon This is a rediculously armed hover tank designed to blow the living crap out of anything that moves! However with such great firepower, defense is weakened. Destroy it before it destroys you!
dualbigcore.fed By CrossTheRubicon This is the first boss of the freeware game G-Type. This is also the first attempt at multiple cores. Not too hard, but don't take it too lightly.
ikarius.fed By CrossTheRubicon Ikarius is one of the many bosses in The Red Star. This boss is, as the name suggests, a tribute to Ikaruga and Gradius. It shoots many bullets and lasers in an attempt to destroy you. Don't hover around the ports for too long or else you're in for a nasty suprise!
assaultcore.fed By CrossTheRubicon Assault Core was created for one thing, that being annihilating enemy fleets. It is heavily armed and armored but does not stand up to small fighters too well. Stand your ground and you will destoy this menace.
bigcore carrier.fed By CrossTheRubicon Following the overall success of the Big Core Escort ship, the Big Core Mk.1 Carrier holds many fighters and is heavily armed and armored. Do not concentrate on the main ship without getting rid of the fighters or else they will swarm you.
bigcore fleet.fed By CrossTheRubicon Why have fun with one Big Core when you can have five! This fleet of Big Core Mk.1s is led by an Big Core Escort ship. Don't let their firepower overwhelm you!
tetran nes.fed By CrossTheRubicon This Tetran is based off of the NES ones. It shoots lasers continuouslyand the arms gradually get faster. It's not what you would expect though...
bigeggcore.fed By CrossTheRubicon Great, it's just what we need... Robotnik stole some plans from the Bacterions and has made his own Big Core! To make things even worse, he's using those blasted overpowered Chaos Emeralds!
bigcore m.fed By CrossTheRubicon Big Core M, otherwise known as Misfit Warship, is another Nemesis MSX boss. It shoots lots of lasers directly ahead while shooting spread bullets to sweep away the smallfry.
bigcore a.fed By CrossTheRubicon Big Core A, also called Abandon Warship, is packed with impressive firepower. Don't stay in front of the warship for too long unless you want to be deep fried!
warhawk.fed By CrossTheRubicon The Warhawk Class Battleship is one of the first ships deployed to the front lines. It is one of the most powerful and effective combat ships around and can tear enemy fleets to shreads. The Warhawks are also easliy able to be outfitted if the combat situation they're entering is going to be rough. If the threat level is going to be higher, more equipment and better armor is added.
sukimamk2.fed - By 柳瀬姫 - It looks easy. But, you better be careful... It is designed to overwhelm you with a barrage of bullets. Designed as part of "Danmaku" series. Aside from basic vulcan fire, it litters deadly, yet grazeable, rings as well as plasma balls that can instantly destroy you when touched.
rinsei_attack.fed - By 柳瀬姫 - A special craft code named "凛静." It boasts an assortment of weaponry in its offensive stage in an attempt to quickly gun you down, as fast as possible. From the front, it can release plasma blades that can spike you to death, and you will be burned at will should you try to get around that, or get gunned down. The Offensive stage is quicker to be destroyed, but can deal a lot of damage.
  rinsei_defense.fed

- By 柳瀬姫

- A special craft code named "凛静." It has just as much weaponry as the Offensive stage, however, it is more armored and is much much harder to destroy, intent on wiping out its assailant - you! The only trick to this is to move. Moving is of utmost importance.

  Cruiser.fed By: Jeryn

At first glance this ship may not seem like much, but it may prove to be more than a match for anything it meets. With the ability to split into three very unique ships this ship has proved to be a challenging battle for many.

Personally one of my favorite creations to fight. Be warned, it was designed to be fought at level 1. Try at higher difficulties at your own risk (level 100 is possible, but EXTREMELY difficult, especiall without powerups)

Mobius.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X01 Mobious, first of the AM-X series mechs. designed as a mid-class assault units its main armaments consists of a heavy chain gun with shoulder mounted homing lasers and laser cannon. It main defence is its heavily armored shield arm, once broken through it can easily be destroyed.
Mobius2.fed By: Jeryn Due to the AM-X01s major weakness rear attacks, the AM-X02 model features rear firing weaponry added to the inside of its shield as well as the back of its wings.
Mobius3.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X03, the third and final version of the Mobius assault mech sacrifices all the changes made to the previous version as well as some armor for increased mobility. The Mobius III can quite easily bring its deadly arsenal to bear directly on its target, and getting behind it is next to impossible.
Geryon.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X04 Geryon is a heavily armored long range support model featuring two of the shield arms used for the Mobius as well as a large array of homing lasers.
Geryon2.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X05 Geryon II is the fully completed version built as the original Geryon was meant to be. The most noteable addition is the two back mounted tentacle guns that add a whole new level of threat too this defensive machine.
Charon.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X06 Charon was built without recycling any of the old Mobius parts unlike the Geryon. Although it may look much lighter than the earlier models, this distinctly evil looking machine is very capable, and is armed with a limited ammount of high explosives for destroying large targets.
Hydra.fed By: Jeryn The AM-X07 Hydra is a heavy destroyer class mech. While inactive, most of its arsenal remains hidden, but once activated, this heavily armored machine can dish out some very impressive firepower.
bullet.fed By Henny5555 (I had to split the table due to problems. Any help?) Bullet Hell has arrived at our galaxy. It is armed with over 100 bullet weapons that fire at different times. This is bound to be a hard fight.

P.S. i should make a story about these constellation guys.(any suggestions? please email your answers at althe69@gmail.com)

updates>>>

april 25: i fixed the bug that made scorpio's right side his front. and made him a little tougher

constellation PHOENIX.fed by AL69 my second prototype, and made it through the night (still has some bugs plus i cant make the wings to flap instead of pivot, a little help please?) and inspired by fireflash's sun and EoD's transforming ability so thank you sharkytrs and a7om1c.

well, thats what it says, a phoenix. it starts out in the "dormant" mode and you must find the red orb (look at the picture) spinning about but beware as the red orb often dives into the blazing inferno.

once the red orb is destroyed, the phoenix will wake up from its slumber, eagerly charging at anyone in its path, entering its "enraged" mode. while in this mode, it is very agile and will spew celestial flames. its only weakpoints are the set of blue crests at the chest of the bird. beware when destroying the front crest as the phoenix has the power to control its remains even when severed from the body . this may not be as hard as the scorpion but it will be a long fight. a formidable enemy at lvl100

P.S.this one is tough so if you kill this guy w/o deaths, contact me at youtube. my name there is either ahll69 or grazee3d.

constellation HYDRA.fed by AL69 my third in the constellation series, the constellation hydra. unlike Scorpio, this boss boasts defence over attack. although lacking in weapons, this boss this is no pushover. dwarfing Scorpio, this boss is revered for his three identical heads. watch out when you destroy the base of his neck, as he enters "leviathan" mode.

P.S.S. sharkytrs, heres what uve been waiting for :P

the SHAGOHOD.fed by AL69 if you have played metal gear solid 3, then you will know this guy. finally knowing how to make weapons to shoot repeatedly, this guy utilizes the remote blast. plus he has 10 warheads stocked so you HAVE to keep moving to win. oh, and by the way, if you have defeated him in metal gear, the weakpoint is still the same. the joint where the main body and the nuclear platform meets

nightmare VIPER.fed

by AL69 inspired from the first two doppelgangers, i decided to make my own, in the form of a viper. complete with options and shields, i equipped each option with one of 3 of the most deadly projectiles in the game. the power ball, the plasma ring, and the (not so)slow ray.

updates>>>

evil GALAGA.fed by AL69 the second in the doppelganger line...

i only did this guy cuz i was bored and im having second thoughts of what constellation should i do next. watch out as he's super accurate (especially his lazers) plus he has a VERY agressive AI so he will always try to ram you so watch out!

shadow FRAXY.fed by AL69 the my third doppelganger...

you wont get near this guy... LITERALLY!

first attempt to replicate fraxy... as a boss.

i tried to make him look like fraxy in attack (it even has a shield... look at the purple thing on the pic) and maybe strategy.

FAQ...

Q.why cant i get near this guy?

A. i made him do that. he's programmed to do that. shadow fraxy isnt really moving actually. he's "pushed" by the boosters (and panel aim players make it face you), and hes programed to stay at a certain distance from you so if you move away, he'll chase you and if you chase him, he'll move back.

  Connections.fed By Truetactics

My second boss and im rather proud of it.

The four arms are invincible and the only way to win is by destorying the core, not the easiest of tasks with the arms helping sheild the core

  Metang.fed By Peardian

Zeta mk. I

My first creation and the first in the Zeta series. It sports basic armor and multiple weapons, including large lasers on its moving arms. Design is based on Metang. The body glows blue for no real reason.

  Metang2.fed By Peardian

Zeta mk. II

The second ship in the Zeta series. Notable features include improved armor, slightly-useless wrist blades, and two drones that will attempt to ram the player at high speeds. Otherwise, it functions much like the first.

  Doomship1.fed By Peardian

Doomship 1

A recreation of the first airship in Super Mario Bros. 3. Everything but the core and cannons are indestructible. It generally moves forward, but will turn if the player goes too far from it.

  Wall of Death.fed By Peardian

Wall of Death

A ship designed purely to ram enemies. The core is very weak, but the rest of the body is indestructible. The giant laser and blades on the ends are just for show, as they don't function very well at such high speeds.

  catgirl.fed By Peardian

S. S. Catgirl

A monstrous ship in the form of an innocuous catgirl. Armed to the teeth, it can launch an attack from almost any part of its body, each of which can operate independantly from each other, even when the body is destroyed. It evolved from a silly joke idea.

  Pix.fed By Peardian

Pix

A triad of ships dedicated to the second boss in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Their usual attack patterns have been simplified to simply launching power balls and spinning around with energy blades. The reddish one is the toughest to defeat.

  runner.fed By Peardian

Runner

A ship that will stop at nothing to get away from the player short of selfdestructing. It starts out with four vulcans, but will gradually activate its other weapon systems, such as a tail-mounted laser and a missile barrage. It also has two figher drones equipped with high amounts of explosives, which are designed to self-destruct when near the player. If this ship gets too far away, it may never be caught.

  Attack Carrier.fed By Peardian

Attack Carrier

A recreation of the alternate first boss from Star Fox 64. It moves in a constant line, but will turn around to face the player after is passes them. It launches missiles from the dual compartments on the left (its right) and releases Granga fighters from the right. After a certain amount of time, the ship will begin trying to ram the player, and will also pull out some more weapons, like a front-mounted vulcan. Though, I did take the liberty of giving it a few extra secret weapons...

  zeram.fed By Peardian

Zeram-Class Cruiser

Another ship recreated from Star Fox 64. Though produced in large numbers and equipped only with vulcans, this ship's impenetrable armor and quick movements make it formidable. It's tough to destroy the guns, but not impossible. The ship has only one weakpoint.

  lucifer.fed By Peardian

Lucifer

A fearsom ship that glows with a divine light. Its body is immortal so long as its wings remain intact. It maneuvers around the player quickly while releasing waves of energy. Its tough, though not impossible, to destroy on any rank.

  Urchin.fed By Peardian

Urchin

A ship made in response to the introduction of brick pieces. It simply floats there while its rotating spines send out bullets randomly. However, there is more to it than meets the eye.

  Star Fox.fed By Peardian

Star Fox

Jumbo-sized versions of the Star Fox team swoop in with their mothership, the Great Fox. They only have simple fire power, so they try to destroy the player by smashing you. The Great Fox slowly circles the battle, and it can catch the player by surprise if they're not careful.

  Great Fox.fed By Peardian

Great Fox

The mothership of the Star Fox team, from Star Fox 64. It's massive solid body is indestructible, but the bridge is not. The only firepower it has is a pair of massive lasers, which protect the side of the bridge. Not much to worry about, really.

  Astro-Slicer.fed By Peardian

Astro-Slicer

A machine armed with four flamethrowers and rotating energy blades. It slowly moves through space, chopping and incenerating everyhing it touches. Some of the plates on the extended arms are impenetrable.

  Orbiter.fed By Peardian

Orbiter

The core is orbited by a high-speed satellite that generates and supplies energy for the core in the form of a highly-concentrated beam. It releases excess energy in the form of plasma rings, emitted in a large circle. While the satellite is up, the core cannot be damaged.

  ghost squid.fed By Peardian

Ghost Squid

Created in response to the introduction of shadow/hidden parts. This phanom monster wiggles its invisible arms through space, with only the weapon tips visible. The core shines with a ghostly glow.

  Poltergeist.fed By Peardian

Poltergeist

What happens when a battleship becomes so obsessed with hatred and destruction that it refuses to accept its own annihilation? After the ghostly image of the ship attempts to ram you before bursting into flames, the many weapons it once owned come to life and begin to circle you. The pieces only register as little red dots on the radar, so it may be difficult to destroy them all.

  GhostSquid2.fed By Peardian

Ghost Squid II

An improved version of the Ghost Squid. The half-invisible tentacles have been replaced with spectral glowing ones. A gun has been added to the core as well.

  lolwut.fed By Peardian

lolwut

A silly experiment that turned out to be entertaining to make. When it spawns, the player is trapped inside a strange box lined with weapons. It's possible to get out, but not easy. Three of the four walls are supplied with energy by external healing units.

  Heavy Mole.fed By Peardian

Heavy Mole

A recreation of the fifth boss in Kirby's Adventure. No longer limited to the confines of solid earth, Heavy Mole turns to ramming as its primary tactic. Also, the blades explode.

  Disco Inferno.fed By Peardian

Disco Inferno

This ship's emits constant streams of rotating fire and lasers. The lasers aren't too much of a threat, however.

  Ring of Fire.fed By Peardian

Ring of Fire

This ship comes in two halves, which boost towards the player to create a circle. If the player does not blast their way out, they will be blasted to smithereens by dozens of lasers... repeatedly.

  Metang3.fed By Peardian

Zeta mk. III

The third in the Zeta line of ships. This version has fixed the flaws in the previous version, including symmetry. The lasers are now bigger, there are more flamethrowers, and the two drones have been replaced by two satellite laser cannons, which zip around the core and fire tiny lasers with startling accuracy. The wrist blades are also slightly more useful.

  tube gun.fed By Peardian

Tube Gun

A ship with a large ring-shaped array of guns. It's mostly fun to look at, as it doesn't put up much of a challenge. However, one touch from its massive tube bullets and any ship will be destroyed.

  assassin.fed By Peardian

Assassin

This ship relies on underhanded tactics to eliminate its enemies. It ambushes the player with bullets and vulcans, but it has a trick up its sleeve...

  Egg01.fed By Peardian

Egg Mobile w/ Hammer Ball

Based on the first boss from the classic game Sonic the Hedgehog. It has no weapons aside from its massive hammer ball, which it swings around constantly. However, unlike in the game, the ball is filled with highly explosive materials, which could cripple the player's ship and leave it susceptible to fire from other enemy vessels.

  Trident.fed By Peardian

Trident

The design for this ship came to me as I lay in bed one night. Most of its body is protected with thick armor. Though it has several small guns and an auto-targeting laser, its main source of offense are the three lasers mounted on the propellers, which fire beams that wave back and forth. The propellers also provide the core a source of energy.

  Halberd03.fed By Peardian

Halberd Micro

A prototype created as part of a project to construct the ultimate warship. A simplified version of the Halberd from the game Kirby Super Star. The hull launches a barrage of bullets while the Combo Cannon on the main deck targets players with a small laser.

  Halberd02.fed By Peardian

Halberd Mini

The second prototype built for the Halberd project. It has more guns than the previous version, and the Combo Cannon now launches energy balls in addition to a laser. This is currently the largest model, as resources ran out before the full-sized ship could be constructed. Had it been completed, it would have been named Halberd01.

  mudkipz.fed By Peardian

Mudkip

The result of a very silly idea. However, this ship is not to be taken lightly and boasts a good amount of firepower. It is also quite quick.

  Egg02.fed By Peardian

Egg Mobile w/ Hot Dropper

A modification of the Egg Mobile. The Hammer Ball has been replaced with a massive flamethrower that targets players as it moves around the hull of the ship.

  Egg Carrier.fed By Peardian

Egg Carrier

A recreation of Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik's massive airship from the game Sonic Adventure. Despite its size, it moves around quite fast.

  shedder.fed By Peardian

Shedder

A ship that relies on missiles as its primary weapon. It is rather hasty and will think nothing of sacrificing its own armor to destroy the player at all costs. It was tough to name this one.

  zoomer.fed By Peardian

Zoomer

This ship charges around, firing rays of energy from the panels sticking out front. It has a homing laser gun mounted on the front should ramming fail.

  Laser Rain.fed By Peardian

Laser Rain

A ship built with now-outdated technology. In addition to two small lasers, the craft is outfitted with a monstrous array of homing laser guns, arranged row by row and timed so that a bullet is going off every second. However, due to the size of the array, gaps are created in the sheet of fire everytime a new row is started. There are plans to possibly update this craft with newer technology.

  Metang4.fed By Peardian

Zeta mk. IV

The fourth one in the Zeta series. The two electromagnetic satellites have been replaced with a series of orbiting armor plates. The weapons systems have been upgraded to include homing lasers, and two lasers were added to each arm, replacing the laser blade. Healing units and gravitational field generators have also been installed. Depending on the player, this version could be easier or harder than the Zeta mk III.

  Cruncher.fed By Peardian

Cruncher

A ship I created to use piston-like movement before the introduction of move joints. Instead, a complex group of various panels move each section back and forth, creating an obstacle course leading to the core. The core itself boosts a rather large laser.

  crossfire.fed; By Peardian

Crossfire Hurricane

A ship designed to fire a constant stream of bullets in four directions while rotating. It doesn't seem like much until plasma rings are thrown into the mix. It can be quite a hassle at rank 100. The name comes from the lyrics from the Rolling Stones song Jumpin' Jack Flash.

  tatanga.fed By Peardian

Pagosu

An attempt to create Tatanga's ship from Super Mario Land. Since power balls can't naturally split into three, I had to improvise. It can make some interesting bullet patterns when it gets to the higher ranks.

  Kracko.fed By Peardian

Kracko

After looking at my Heavy Mole ship a while, I decided I would attempt to recreate all the original Kirby bosses from the first two games. This was my attempt at the boss of Bubbly Clouds and Grape Gardens, Kracko. More mechanical and menacing than the real thing, this ship only has eight guns while the real Kracko has twelve spikes. Kracko's signature lighting attack was replaced by a huge laser.

  Whispy.fed By Peardian

Whispy Woods

A spooky-looking recreation of the first Kirby boss, Whispy Woods. Far more deadly than the real thing, this ship drops fires lasers from its eyes, shoots bullets from its nose, and breathes fire. Plasma rings replace the apples Whispy normally drops.

  Pulsar.fed By Peardian

Pulsar

A ship created in response to the introduction of move joints. It isn't much of a threat until it starts to creep towards the player.

  Paint Roller.fed By Peardian

Paint Roller

An attempt at recreating Kirby's Adventure's second boss. Instead of having a canvas around that fires all sorts of weapons, most of this ships attacks come from its right hand. The hand on the left is a homing laser.

  Mister Shine.fed By Peardian

Mr. Shine

One of the two ships from the boss pair, for those who want to face it alone. It really isn't all that tough until it starts to use its special attack.

  Mister Bright.fed By Peardian

Mr. Bright

The other of the two ships from the boss pair. While it doesn't give an item, it's more of a challenge to defeat. It isn't so tough until it starts to use its special attack.

  Mister AAAA.fed By Peardian

Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright

A duo of ships based on the boss of Butter Building. The two ships take turns, one becoming inactive and indestructible while the other attacks the player. When one partner dies, the other simply continues its offensive until it is destroyed.

  Malice.fed By Peardian

Malice

My first ship created with the use of the event editor. This ship fires a constant stream of energy spheres in four directions in a giant spiral. It doesn't move much, but it doesn't have to. It also comes equipped with an energy syphon unit that draws power from the energy radiating off the player's ship should they get too close. It will occasionally alternate the direction of the streams.

  Attack Carrier v2.fed By Peardian

Attack Carrier v2

An updated version of the Attack Carrier using scripts. This newer model is harder to destroy and more closely follows the game version. The older version will remain up for those who want it.

  Dark Matter.fed By Peardian

Dark Matter

A recreation of the final boss in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Slow rays take the place of his electric attack. However, the fight is not as simple as it appears...

  Mandala Star.fed By Peardian

Mandala Star

A simple ship that creates dazzling patterns with its moving arms. Since it is totally stationary, its arms pose the only threat. When they start to swirl, the player should retreat immediately.

  Stalker.fed By Peardian

Stalker

A creepy ship that follows the player closely, but backs off if the player attempts to make contact with it. Its impenetrable outer armor slides open when it gets close enough to reveal its aresenal of lasers... and also its core. The weaker it gets, the harder it will be to avoid.

  Laser Rain 2.fed By Peardian

Laser Rain 2.0

A state-of-the-art upgrade to the old Laser Rain boss. The sleek, minimalistic design uses spherical modules in place of the old, clunky metal beams. Also, since the homing lasers now come from a single point, they are harder to weave between.

  LololoLalala.fed By Peardian

Lololo & Lalala

This pair of ships rushes at you with indestructable boxes. They aren't much of a threat at first, but if one is destroyed, the other won't take it very well and go all out on the player.

  Megabit.fed By Peardian

Megabit

This normal Bit Core has powered up and grown over ten times its normal size. It still follows the player like a normal Bit Core, but has as many weapons as a small battleship its size. May cause some lag, especially at higher ranks.

  Disaster Core.fed By Peardian

Disaster Core

A heavily armored, highly unstable core with a variety of weapons on its impenetrable outer hull. Destryoing all the external weapons will open with massive shell, causing the core to leak high amounts of energy in streams capable of physically moving the player's ship. The fewer the barriers between the core and the player, the stronger the stream.

  Cuckoo Condor.fed By Peardian

Cuckoo Condor

A recreation of the mechanical boss of Ruby Passage from Wario Land 4. This ship boasts an impenetrable outer shell with three weapons, including a buzzsaw and electric spark generator. Players who have also played Wario Land 4 will know exactly how to defeat this boss.

  Valencia.fed By Peardian

Valencia

A very straightforward enemy. This heavily-armed battleship will attack the player with a large variety of weapons with no fancy tricks. Its signature is the V-shaped weapon rack on the back half of the ship. The only script used in the entire boss is to activate effectors.

  Metang5.fed By Peardian

Zeta mk. V

The next in line in the Zeta series. This version ditches external protective systems for a more efficient internal one. The two arms are now protected by advanced force fields which not only stop all kinds of attacks but channels their energy into the shield generator. After absorbing enough power, the generator releases it in a highly concentrated beam targeted directly at the player. Also comes equipped with several new weapon systems.

  Trapper.fed By Peardian

Trapper

A devious ship protected by multiple traps. Anyone who does not approach this ship with caution from any side is sure to be destroyed. Players should take extra caution towards the front of the ship.

  Hurricane.fed By Peardian

Hurricane

A massive spiralling fortress filled to the brim with weapons. The only advantage the player has is being immune to the dozens of electric shock generators lining the outer and inner walls. Those who face it should be prepared for a long and difficult battle.

  Dedede.fed By Peardian

Dedede

A mechanized version of the King of Dream Land from the Kirby series. It boasts four different attacks which it cycles through in a predictable pattern. It is actually not very difficult.

  Dancing Rain.fed By Peardian

Dancing Rain

A very simple boss using the latest in parameter-altering technology. It attacks the player with waves of bullets that sway to and fro, as well as streams of needles.

  Techno Core.fed By Peardian

Techno Core

A high-tech core with all the latest bells and whistles. The four radar-like attachments assault the player with the newest weapons while healing units orbit the core. However, it does not give up easily, and will resort to some more classic methods when it gets weak.

  Clockwork.fed By Peardian

Clockwork

A mechanical monstrosity that is unstoppable when it is fully winded. However, it has to stop every so often to wind up its gears again. It puts on quite a show when destroyed.

A large wheel-like thing (cleverly named amirite). Sort of a FINAL BOSS except it lacks the oomph of a final boss. Will most likely come back to this when I become more aware on how to make things use less parts and how joins work and stuff. Oh, and I wanted to put more reactivity in this one with events, I tried a little but I'm not really satisfied with it.

But anyways, this is hard. I had trouble beating it without death at Rank 1.

At first, I wanted to make a really huge Yamato-like battleship, but, eh. I messed with a bunch of smaller ship designs and I liked what I saw. I guess I can work on Erelim later.

Qashmallim are crazy fast, and they are as good at melee as at ranged combat, so be careful.

Border of Technicality and Inanity ~What The Hell Is This~

I first started this to see what kind of things I should attach to a srsly hard boss. Most of it is just an array of gizmos and tricks that combine into something weird. Then I had the grand idea of turning this into an homage of the Extra stages of the Touhou series, i.e. where you die repeatedly.

You will have to survive for 10k frames for the core to be revealed. As time passes, Botai will unleash more of its weaponry against you. Also, trying to get behind it will lag your computer hard.

cross-laser-v2.fed

By

Jimbob, a.k.a. pickledapples

The title, "Cross-Laser" is pretty self explanatory.

Armed with vulcan spirals, grenades, huge lasers, and, worst of all, rapidly firing homing lasers, this boss will definitely prove to be one tough pain in the ass at the higher difficulty levels.

NOT recommended for level 100; all those who would play this boss at that difficulty level are just insane.

The cross-laser v2 is just the same as the normal one; it just looks better and has a cooler explosion.

  Evening Star.fed

By

Jimbob, a.k.a. pickledapples

My very second boss, I think this is a rather cool, but evil creation. It will spray huge amounts of vulcan fire/ homing lasers at you. Its weak points are rather hard to get at, and they're even harder to get at once you see it charging up for its signature attack - two huge semi-insta-kill lasers it shoots both ways. But, also, be aware - not only is it hard to hit his weak points, it's also hard not to get rammed by him.

By

Jimbob, a.k.a pickledapples

UPDATE: For those of you who downloaded this on 08/06/11, please re-download. Those ever-so-annoying power balls have been removed. Also, durability has been upgraded.

Much like it's brother-in-spirit, the Cross-Laser, the Urban Spin Top still has 4 giant badonkadonk lasers to avoid, but unlike the Cross-Laser, he is more like a boss in difficulty and you have to get inside of him to shoot all of his weak points. Add this and his weapons all together and you get one TOUGH AS HELL boss. Really. This time it is NOT recommended for rank 100. Just try it, you'll get killed in less than 30 seconds.

reallifeThe defender is one of my best creations, and is a total NIGHTMARE at lv100. I made it a boss because it may be slightly too powerful to become a drone, but can be easy to defeat fron certain angles. This also has my weapon, the shotgun, a huge monstrosity that shoots bullets in a spread out manner, at the back, but it looks like the actual body =P[/reallife]

The defender was built to protect ships transporting Desiach (I 'copied' the name from someone) goods across the galaxy, but it soon turned out that the defenders were destroying the carriers and taking the goods. A defender with a good pilot can be impossible to destroy. totalrandomnessBanana.[/totalrandomness]

TEH COMMENTS R B HEAR

What are images? Absorber.fed You know who it is. -_-

This should technically be in the drones section, but I'm serious, this is INCREDIBLY annoying. It is only vunerable at the back, but because it always faces you and is almost fast enough to stop you from getting there, you either need a very fast ship to get round the lazer wings, or go through the lazers by shielding or boosting or both. Also, it is only vunerable at the back if its 'shell' is open. One more thing. Be careful of those slow rays.

Wondering why it's called 'Absorber'? Because it has a use when not killing fraxians. It absorbs energy from space wrecks and abandoned fire planets and converts it into super-strong acid before expelling it out through its curved exausts and frontal exaust to dissolve the wreckage and make the planets clean. You can see it at work all the time, it's meant to absorb all traces of that certain energy. Even when it fights it is charging energy, and absorbs more as it weakens! One of my first creations with basic events.

teh pwnzor of all!

well its not much but heres my first fraxy boss!

and it has a story to it!

the year is 3295. just recently a new elite group of fight pilots was established to protect the galaxy from evil beings who would with to dominate it! however the true reason for the elite groups creation remains mostly unknown to the general public.

you see not long before its creation (5 months to be exact) a threat had been issued to the supreme council of the galaxy: bow to me or i will release the morchtas to annhilate all of you! no mercy will be given!

the morchtas are a mystery group of incredibly powerful ships of all shapes and sizes. the higher the number is the stronger (and later built) it is! now as for their history. you see in the year 3004 a massive attack on the city "arounta" had occured. 5 days after the attack a crazy man who called himself "the inventor" claimed responsibility for the attack. he claimed he had made a seiries of ships, cruisers, and stations to defend his home planet and any others that were willing (to accept them as a defence) but that they had a glitch: intelligence! which as you should know. is a bad thing in machines.... at least... when its super intelligence! so he sent them all into a sun. how the mystery person giving the threat got them is unknown.

and now you: the elite of the elite! must take on the first in the lineup. morchta 01: sarimor. good luck pilot. your gonna need it.

The UIDS is a much more dangerous opponent than it may appear to be at first. A small core with an outer ring that spins most of the time, making entering and exiting only plausible during certain times. This ring is filled with a constant onslaught from vulcans, homing lasers, needle guns, and more rarely grenades and enough ripple guns to instantly kill you if you don't exit before they're fired.

Designed to be extremely challenging on rank 1, rank 100 would be nothing short of suicide. On rank 100 it litterally fires more bullets than fraxy is capable of processing at once.

Fire God Seraph [Phoenix Wraith].fed By Hikaru

Story of Fire God Seraph

Rumored to be a Seraph from Heaven and can transform into Phoenix Wraith to show his rank of a God. He is hoping for a human to defeat him to show proof that humans have the courage to destroy only the evil ones. As a result, the Fire God Seraph went down to Earth to meet strong humans and sleeps among the stars.

Tactic

Phoenix Wraith is nearly in fact invincible but not for long only if you know how to dodge. This boss is in fact not really a bullet hell boss. But you need to keep your eyes peeled. Don't ask me why.

Phoenix Wraith have, in fact, a barrier to defend its weakness. So most likely the core is its "heart" and that's where you can defeat Phoenix Wraith. You can't hit at the head as it's invincible.

Phoenix Wraith's wing will spread from time to time but makes you have to go around the wings instead of through the wings.

Phoenix Wraith have 5 attacks:

  • Burning Feather [Wings (Homing Missile)]
  • Phoenix Scream [Head core (Burner)]
  • Burning Beam [Head core (Laser S x2)]
  • Celestial Star [Head core (Laser L)]
  • Burning Wave [Wings (Unknown Weapon)]

Burning Feather is in fact the hardest to dodge as each of the sectors of the wings shoots out 3 Homing Missiles each.

Phoenix Scream is the easiest to dodge so nothing much to talk about it.

Burning Beam comes out from it's eyes. It might shoot along with Celestial Star.

Celestial Star is a stronger version of Burning Beam but comes out from its mouth.

Burning Wave is an intermediate attack and only be deadly if Burning Feather is activated.

This boss does not have any events, making it a bit...harder. I may want to add in some more guns and add in Final Attack.

This boss was planned to be bullet hell as well but I'll make it a bit more challenging after I got the time as well.

Second (Actually third) ship i made. To tell the truth i now understand all the basics up to the point where i can allow myself to concentrate on what the ship is looking like. The current ship is Magus Alpha, prototype Arcanum ship version 1. Not only is it almost invulnerable from all sides but also utilizes a strategy of locking the enemy to the way of fire until he drops dead. (There is still some weird bug with the swords not retracting back, if you know why, tell me)

WARNING!!! Upond downloading remove or change the Alpha, it looks like Fraxy has some issues with it.

Magus_b.fed By: AlexMdle, duh.

Magus ß

Modified by Claus Zelchberg after approximately 6 months after the original Magus α was made. Althrough claimed to be made from a scratch, the facts that the ship was built so fast after the first one and that it in fact used almost the same components prove that its a ripoff from the original ship. Claus himself states: "The original ship was indeed a fake, a vessel without the essence, with false purpose. This ship is true and has a destiny. The arcanum ships will soon reveal themselves."

Info about the ship: Basically this is your Magus α with a big additional section ("Overdrive Reactor") added on its bottom section. You can choose to directly rush it's main core like by the first variant or you can choose the safer way to first destroy the Overdrice Reactor as it will surely annihilate most of the ship's weaponry. Still, be carefull to not get hit, as when one hit is landed, many others will come.

I think we'll stick with Jimbob. "pickledapples" is an unnecessary confusion ;-). As far as I know JPteeto created this wiki. Does anyone know if he's active any more or if he's just left us to it? I know it can grow and develop without him, of course....just curious.

I really don't know where he went, haven't seen anything from him, youtube or here, in quite a while

Gramatically correct and polite'll do.
Also, new boss up.

I've added a new non-Core boss called the Warhawk Battleship. As the rank goes up, it becomes harder to destroy and adds more weapons. I highly recommend fighting it below level 40 (if you want to test it). Any higher and it could get really hard to handle.

I added a boss a while ago but only on my userpage, I didn't feel like adding it here too. >_><_<

We have to do something about this page, it's ~7.832MB large (aka way too big, takes forever to load). Maybe remove the images?

agreed. it's really not efficient at all. to be honest i'd be in favour of scrapping it and sticking with the user index, but that's not a good idea for casual browsers looking for all bosses. removing images would reduce page size, but i often use the pictures as "landmarks" so i know where i am on the page, and who's table is previous/next etc. i'm sure we'll work something out

maybe instead of putting ALL images, we can do what some people did and put links to see it, and put a picture of one of the persons bosses at the top of their table. that sounds good, there would only be 1 image to load per person, which would make it way smaller, but you can still look at all the images through the provided links

Screature said

I like that idea! However, unless it's a callaborative effort, some poor bugger's gonna have to go through the boss page and edit it all. I'll change mine, no probs. It's the rest that'll be a problem.

or we could set up multiple boss pages, with about 50-100 bosses a page? i dunno, I'll do my image thing and add Kohns to my list while I'm at it

It probably wouldn't be as much of a problem if people resized their images in <insert image editor of choice here> to something way smaller than 320x240 and THEN uploaded/posted them.

profile picture

Screature said

I stick to 190x190 at a maximum, though I'm going to redo my table to make everything smaller, and link to my boss page with the full size images.

Oh, I use IrfanView to resize my images, in case anyone needs a quick pointer, although I'm sure there are better ones out there.

when I put my images in here, it gives me sizing hadles, so I use those haha. Sounds good, honestly. I may do something like Omoresu, where you have to look at his page for the pictures and descriptions

Smart arse, I forgot about the resizing handles :-) hehe. That'll save me 5 mins whenever I add a boss! However, adding an image that's 500Kb in filesize, and using the handles to resize down to 320x240, will use up this wiki's space fast. 1Gb is plenty, but that's no excuse to upload huge pics thinking it'll do to resize using the handles. Now I'm just being picky ;-). I'll go with Omoresu's layout too, though to be honest I'm not even fussed about having a boss table here. Its only here for completion's sake

same with mine, I'm not really even updating it anymore

profile picture

NightKev said

No, don't use the wiki resizing, that doesn't change the filesize at all and so even if your image is 10x10 the filesize may still be 500kb. Use an image editor like I said (Paint.Net and IrfanView are two good image editors).

Big update on my stuff! haha I took away the images and descriptions on this huge boss page and added a link to my page above my table, added one of my older bosses (regulator), updated Rapture (no longer unbeatable), and added a description type thing on my user page. And PAI update! haha PAI06: Atea is going really well so far, and although I'm not close to being finished with him, I've made quite a bit of progress.

I think we should take down the bosses page and use the user index more often. It's starting to turn into a whirlpool of madness and blah.

I guess, but it's more new-user-friendly to have a whole list, I think whats best is to either kinda do what I did with my table, and/or split the boss page up into multiple pages

How about just no images on the boss page?; that should fix most of the problems.

Since I have no idea how to put up bosses on the boss page, I have put it up on a different page. Search my username and it'll show up.

Ok guys, here's some tips that you really, REALLY should follow. 1) If the boss is huge, make sure it doesn't turn too fast; otherwise, the players are going to be thinking "WHAT THE FUCK?!?!". 2) The boss should not be faster than the player. 3) Do not overuse invulnerable parts.

profile picture

bukkarooo said

there are, of course, exceptions to numbers 2 and 3

Very, very rare exceptions. >:(

>NightKev: 1/2) If the boss IS faster than the player, then make that condition obvious, give warning (effectors are nice here), and keep it to a single directional thrust. 3) I use invulnerable parts to force a player to attack a particular weak spot (even though you can nuke Big Core with Blasters), but when I do that, I use "power couplings" like Gradius does as a hint so the player doesn't have to play "find the weak spot".

The bosses page, I find is the hell of the Compendium. No, seriously. It's a mess. I'm giving up on tidying that place up.

Now that we have events, preventing bosses from turning at lightspeed is rather simple; "If [Core] (Move_Frame > x) and (Move_Frame < y) Then Play_Movement [Booster]" and just have the booster pointed in the right direction and poof.

I don't know, I believe that your bosses weren't in a convenient format (WE DON'T WANT TO BOTHER COPYING AND PASTING TEXT) and weren't tidily put and got blown away. Oh well, you can always put them on again...I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL FOR THE USAGE OF MY THESUN.FED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION

profile picture

bukkarooo said

well, some bosses need them to realize what the creator wanted, like not letting you destroy guns and hving to attack the core or other weak points. Look at ANY of my PAI bosses to see what I'm talking about. They wouldn't be nearly as fun if you could destroy everything

Although my Zeta Boss is designed with a brick covering of low health parts so it explodes a lot early on, revealing the superstructure beneath. So there's more than one way to use vulnerabilities.

profile picture

NightKev said

bukk: That's not what I'm talking about, those bosses would use invulnerability correctly. Some bosses though, the way invulnerability is used in conjunction with part placement, etc is just horrendous.
