Rubidioth.fed

- The 'Moths' were at first a series of Axis tributes, but as I made more, they became more of their own entity. Recognizable by the -Oth in their name, and the M-shaped blades in the front of nearly every boss.

*Note that I fight the Moths at Rank 25. Satisfaction is not guarenteed above that! Go ahead and try though.

Rubidioth - The first Moth, though actually the 3rd made. A first attempt at using the ever useful 30-60 joints. Be wary of his gravity field. Note that it is one of the few that does not have the M-blade in front.

Strontoth.fed Strontoth - Moth #2. The last one thus far to have detaching sub-bosses to them. It is well armored with a giant spinning thing. Because who doesn't love giant spinning things?

Yttrioth.fed

Yttrioth - Moth #3. The first one to completely use the 30-60 joints, it loosely resembles FraxyFactory's fantastic Oxyaxis in one form. The 30-60 joints are easily one of the most versitile Fraxy pieces, as seen in many Moths and FF's later creations.

Zirconioth.fed

Zirconioth - Moth #4. A vicious scorpion machine, heavily armed with an assortment of lasers, vulcans, and power balls. One could go as far to say it's merely a more difficult Yttrioth, as they share some similarities in design.

*Note the picture is sideways. The right is the front.

Niobioth.fed

Niobioth - Moth #5. Niobioth has more 'transformations' than the previous two, but they're less linked. Either could have been in either form. Niobioth has a fair share of weaponry new to the series, one of which was inspired by JPteeto's Evofraction. A more 'unique' fight.

Molyoth.fed

Molyoth - Moth #6. Molyoth was a mess to design. Trying to make a weak point that is part of a moving piece that when destroyed allows access to a stationary piece is a chore. How well it fits is satisfying. Its two forms are distinctly different in what weapons you're dodging and where you're aiming.

*The bricks in the 'claws' are indeed weak points, they just happened to look better there than glowing green crosses.

This boss, as with most of my bosses, are not meant to be fought with the blaster weapon. The splash damage will make the fight easier than intended.

;Technioth2.fed

Technioth Ver 2 - Moth #7. This boss shows the fine line between easy and overkill. I don't think I found that line. Not one of my favorites. Note that if you downloaded this boss on 2/21 or 2/22, you need to re-download it. A couple of edits were made to fix a bug, and to make the boss more fair and less frusterating.

Ruthenoth.fed

Ruthenoth - Moth #8. Heavily inspired by A70M1C's Reactor 07 and less so by JPteeto's Evofraction, Ruthenoth is another installment of "bosses that will beat the crap out of you if you don't kill them fast enough." Strike hard, strike fast, and pay attention around you. Movement space will disappear very quickly during this fight. On a side note, it didn't even look remotely Metroid-esque until I gave him teeth. But he looked so much better with teeth. Love your work A70M1C! =p

*Note the picture is upside down for menacing purposes.

Rhodioth.fed Rhodioth - Moth #9. In a highly unorthodox fight, Rhodioth slams you with an array of weapons, manily powerballs, blades, and a pair of large discs, all while sharply turning and dodging what comes its way. But those are generally defensive weapons and tactics! Something's fishy here. Striking quickly and accurately while narrowly avoiding its strikes is the only way.
Palladoth.fed

Palladoth - Moth #10.

Data File 46.16.10 'Palladoth'

Records define subject 0.10/Palladoth as one of the earlier MOTHs designed by the Foundation, and subsequently one of the first to be jettisoned into deep space after the incident 6 years ago. Records detailing the Palladoth's specific original purpose in creation have been long since incinerated. Present day reports show that the Palladoth's intelligence is significantly less than that of most MOTHs, and much of its current activity is gathering and adding various junk to itself, becoming an amalgamation. As with most of the failed bio-mechanical MOTHs, it is uncontrollable, unpredictable, and likely dangerous. Present reports still fail to indicate why subject Palladoth, as like most MOTHs, is still alive. Appears to be searching for something, predictions indicate that unlocated MOTH 0.37/Radoth is likely target, as understood from cerebral data recovered from defeated MOTH 0.05/Niobioth.

Silvoth.fed Silvoth - Moth #11. Actually the first Moth created. I've decided to leave it how it is rather than try to make this boss remotely enjoyable. It only exists on this website for completion's sake, I don't expect anyone to fight it other than to wonder why he's here.

Cadmioth.fed

Cadmioth - Moth #12.

Data File 01.03.06 'Foundation'

The Acrox Foundation was formed by Michael Acrox in 2023. For the following 43 years, the Foundation researched and mass-produced various goods for uses in military and resource gathering. The Foundation was generally unheard of until 2037, when they began producing large-scale bio-mechanical machines of various use known as MOTHs. The Acrox foundation was shut down in March 2056 after the incident a month prior.

Data File 48.03.12 'Cadmioth'

Subject 0.12/Cadmioth was the first MOTH designed and put to use by the Foundation in 2037. During its existence it was used for heavy weapons distribution and use by the Air Force. It was one of the 4 MOTHs involved in the Foundation incident 19 years later, where it was destroyed.

Indioth.fed

Indioth - Moth #13.

Data File 49.09.13 'Indioth'

Formerly a deep space transport vessel, subject 0.13/Indioth was upgraded with heavy weapons and defenses and named a MOTH by the Foundation in 2043, to increase protection on precious cargo from the various predators that roam the galaxies. After the incident, subject 0.13/Indioth appears to have gained the ability to transform, along with significantly more powerful weapons and a trio of detatchable 'Drifter'-Class Drones. No longer a transport ship but now another weapon of terror, the subject was last sighted near Antares three weeks ago. These Air Force data banks do not contain its current location or exactly how subject 0.13/Indioth gained its new weaponry after the incident.

Thanks to Cross for bringing brains to needy bit cores!

Iodioth.fed

Iodioth - Moth #17.

Data File 53.09.17 'Iodioth'

The monsterous 0.17/Iodioth was constructed in late 2056, a few months after the incident. These Air Force data files indicate that subject MOTH was created by 0.37/Radoth from salvaged 0.08/Ruthenoth parts after its failed attack and subsequent destruction on the Sycac Colony. Unlike most MOTHs, subject 0.17/Iodioth was built for no purpose other than intergalactic warfare as one of 0.37/Radoth's far-reaching implements of terror. Subject 0.17/Iodioth and its two "brother" MOTHs currently assist 0.37/Radoth in excerting its control over the remaining MOTHs. Subject is armed with a series of blades and launching claws, in addition to a vicious blade-disk. It will also charge its targets if they attempt to flee. Subject currently has a $6 Billion bounty on its 'head.'

4/17: Updated. Bug fixed, aesthetically improved, and more interesing to fight.

4/21: Updated again. Large bug that caused it to delete itself at 80% core life fixed.

-Warning! Fighters on high difficulties will find the blade-disk very difficult to avoid.

*Somewhat inspired by SharkyTrs -Armor series.

Xenoth.fed

Xenoth & Kryptoth - Moths #18 and 36. Finally, I actually get a boss that works right since the Fraxy update. It's crazy how many of my ideas are now doable because of this, great stuff. This one here's an idea I've wanted to do for a while but until the events, it just wasn't possible. Xenoth is armed with basically every trick in the book, and a very large number of bullets and bullet twins. It also comes with a mini-Moth, Kryptoth. Be wary of destroying Kryptoth though, Xenoth won't like it very much. Also, there's a backstory to the Moths now, in case you haven't noticed.

As always, be wary of fighting Moths above Rank 25.

Caesioth.fed

Caesioth - Moth #19. Actually the second Moth created. One of only 2 that do not have the signiture M-blade in the front of the ship. Coming off of Silvoth, I still felt the need for detaching sub-bosses, though not to Silvoth's absurd extent. Its tracking-laser isn't lethal anymore, either.
